We are committed to 100% customer satisfaction. If you are not completely satisfied with your merchandise, you may return it for a refund or exchange. We graciously accept returns by mail on unused, unwashed, undamaged merchandise. If you prefer, you may swing by Wilderness Voyageurs Outfitter Store in Ohiopyle, PA to return your merchandise in person.
We must be notified of your intent to return merchandise within 30 days of the date we ship to you. Please try to avoid wantonly destroying the packaging or losing the tags. Sorry but we cannot accept COD packages. Also, while we will be happy to refund your credit card the appropriate amount for your return items (assuming they are within our return policy guidelines), we cannot refund shipping and handling charges unless you have received damaged or defective goods.
Returning or Exchanging by mail
All orders are shipped with a receipt/packing slip that sports a nifty return form. Simply indicate the reason for the return and specify whether you would like a refund or an exchange and we will be happy to accommodate you. Further instructions appear on the form. Know that while you will have to pay to ship the merchandise back to us, exchanges typically will not accrue further shipping charges (see special exceptions).
Returning or Exchanging in Person
Here’s your chance to look us in the eye. Bring your item(s) to Wilderness Voyageurs Outfitter Store in Ohiopyle, PA along with your receipt/packing slip. We will issue a refund or exchange, whichever you’d prefer. Call 800 272 4141 or visit www.wilderness-voyageurs.com for directions.
Gifts
We hope you don’t want to return your gift for cash. That’s cold, man. Mail us or bring us your gift with your gift receipt/packing slip and we will issue you a voucher with a code that you can use for making purchases with us online or at our physical location.
Lost Receipts and Price Discrepancies
If you’ve lost your receipt, don’t fret. Call us at 800 272 4141. We’ll ask you some questions and we’ll usually be able to determine to our satisfaction that, yes, you are the purchaser or gift recipient. If for some reason we don’t have a record of how much was paid for the merchandise, we’ll substitute the current selling price.
Uneven Exchanges
If you exchange your unsatisfactory merchandise for more expensive merchandise, we will charge the credit card used to make the original transaction. If your lousy item winds up costing more than the snazzy item you replace it with, we’ll credit your card for the difference. We’re swell that way.
Special Exceptions
Exchanges on non-defective kayaks and paddles will accrue additional shipping charges. You should call us at 800 272 4141 before sending back your kayak or paddle to get a shipping quote so you are not surprised when you see your credit card statement.
PFDs and climbing equipment are considered safety equipment. Unless we have clearly sent you the wrong item(s), non-defective climbing gear is not returnable. Non-defective PFDs will only be accepted for return if the tags are still attached. |
